An AbbyShot Christmas!

AbbyShot got a special treat on our LAST day before Christmas holidays. A local customer stopped in to pick up her new Enigma trench, and her reaction as she tried on her coat was worth ten Christmases put together! Most of the time we ship our coats off to distant places around the world, so getting to see a new customer's reaction in-person was something special.

To all of our customers, supporters, and friends: we hope your Christmas is a special one and we wish you all the best for 2008. We'll be back on January the 2nd and we've got PLENTY of excitement in store for the new year!

AbbyShot Goes Literary!

Hot off the press here in our home province of Newfoundland and Labrador, an original AbbyShot garment has just made the cover of a new book! Eagle-eyed blog readers will recognize in the picture to the left: AbbyShot's very own Cloak!

The book is titled Marguerite of the Isle of Demons and is a retelling of a local legend about a French Princess stranded off the northern coast of Newfoundland in the 16th century. This AbbyShot staff member can barely handle the weather here in Newfoundland at the best of times, so being stranded off the northern coast of our island would be quite the adventure!

The book was written by Earl B. Pilgrim and was JUST published at the end of November 2007 by DRC Publishing.
