AbbyShot "In the Shed" - For a Good Cause!

Our local classic rock station (9.75 K-ROCK!) is doing something SO worthy of attention this week that we just have to blog about it. Radio personality Big Tom is living in his shed for 8 days to raise money for Daffodil Place, a new cancer support centre here in our home province of Newfoundland.

That's right, I said he's living in his shed! He's a brave soul, and to show his commitment to this excellent cause he's staying in his shed until this coming Saturday while he collects donations. To show OUR support for Big Tom, AbbyShot donated two of our popular hoodies (the Kingdom Hoodie and the Jayne Hoodie) to keep him warm through this cold Newfoundland winter!

You can make a donation directly to Big Tom's cause on the K-ROCK site (the AbbyShot team already has) but we've also got something extra worked out:

For every AbbyShot Hoodie sold in Newfoundland this week, we're going to donate 10% of the revenue to Big Tom's Daffodil Place fundraiser!

Customer E-mails - February 2009

It's February and our monthly e-mails feature is starting off with a little "Valentine's Day" twist! We were in the mood for love when we saw these amazing wedding photos that a customer sent us earlier this month. The bride was in a beautiful wedding dress and the groom was in a beautiful Leather Sunstalker Trench from AbbyShot. Holy matrimony! Let's see those awesome pics! :)

Hey, just dropping a line to tell you that my Sunstalker trench coat you made for me was perfect. As I said before that I was going to wear it for my wedding on Dec 7 2008. I promised to send a picture or two. My wife loved it.

New Photo Contest - Win Free AbbyShot Gear!

We're starting the year off with a fun new photo contest! As announced in our January Newsletter, we're asking you to answer this big question by the end of this month:

Where's the coolest place in the world to wear an AbbyShot garment?

Answers must come in the form of a photo!

It doesn't necessarily have to be an exotic locale either, maybe there's a cool looking place in your local area that really sets off a particular AbbyShot Coat! Our Squall Jacket Photo above was actually taken at our local university in lovely St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.

Who knows what interesting locales might be in your own backyard? Make your photo cool, make it creative, but most of all, make it fun :)

We'll compile the top pics here on our blog, and you'll get to vote for the best of the best! The all-time winner will net themselves a 100% FREE Kingdom Hoodie and AbbyShot T-Shirt!

Voting will happen in March, so we'll need your photo submissions by March 10, 2009 (Previously February 28, 2009).
