Vereen Jacket Answers the Call of the Wild!

The wind was howling as the sun began to set upon the beach. The only thing fiercer than the wind was the look in Adam's eyes. It must have been a combination of the night and the Vereen Jacket hugging his body, because he no longer was the man we once knew.

Okay, for real, we had a really cool Vereen Jacket photo shoot down at the beach the other night! It was windy and rainy but that didn't stop us! We were determined to get the perfect shots to bring back to our fans. The weather actually worked in our favor. We couldn't have asked for a better sky or better lighting.

The Vereen Jacket has gone far too long displayed on a mannequin. It was time to show everyone what this jacket can really do. Not only is it the perfect replica garment but it is also a great everyday jacket. The deep brown leather is soft and sleek and makes any man feel like a hero.

Newfoundland has a lot of amazing scenery so it wasn't very hard to find a great shoot location. We went to Topsail Beach, a beautiful rocky beach in Conception Bay South. To us it looked like the kind of place that Logan would like to hang out. Adam seemed to fit in well there; Hugh could have some competition if they ever decide to make another prequel.

The photos that our customers send in are always awesome so it is pretty hard to measure up, but we tried! Please, have a look at the pictures and let us know what you think. We have the best customers on the planet and we value your opinions very much!

Customer E-mails - October 2009

AbbyShot has the coolest customers in the world and every month they keep on proving it! It's a pleasure to check the Inbox every day. Why? Because of emails and photos like this one, from a happy GIG Shrug customer:

I'm so happy with the shrug I think that every woman should have one in her wardrobe.

Apart from feeling completely sexy and empowered while wearing it the shrug certainly commands attention and I receive so many positive comments about it from passers by.

I wear tight lacing corsets and have 4 in leather. The shrug works so well with these it's like they were born for each other.

I wish I could be like the Gillette guy, who was so happy with the product, he bought the company.

Thank you Abbyshot for such a wonderful buying experience. Thank you for using great leather. Just, thank you.

We have had quite a few customers say that a corset and the GIG Shrug are like a match made in heaven. It is SO true.

Next we have a Kingdom Hoodie fan who is actually a previous winner of our Customer Photo contest held in March-April 2009. Sean had bought a Kingdom Hoodie and then won a hoodie for his girlfriend (great for Brownie points). This all adds up to: Organization II ;)

Hello Abbyshot!
I know that we still owe you the Organization II pics, but it's 90-100 degrees here in Florida and my girlfriend lives near an awesome lake where we can do the pics, but when it cools down, you'll see. But in the meantime, here's a pic that I took from early March at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Florida, USA

Nice one Sean! The Kingdom Hoodie invades the Magic Kingdom - very appropriate. And the castle looks spooky in the background too (be sure to click the photo for a larger view).

Thanks to Imelda and Sean for sending in the pics and to all other customers: we would love to see YOUR photos! With Halloween coming up it could be the perfect time - just don't forget your camera!

Mad Max Jacket in Empire Magazine!

The AbbyShot Team was very honoured to see our Mad Max Jacket featured in the pages of one of our favourite magazines: none other than the UK's Empire! Known as "The World's Biggest Movie Magazine", Empire featured AbbyShot in the September issue (with Robert Downey Jr's interesting take on Sherlock Holmes on the cover).

The Mad Max Jacket was included in September's "iWant List", Empire's monthly round-up of cool stuff. Here's what they had to say:

Mad Max Jacket
One of the great movie leatherwear articles (up there with The Matrix, T2, and Cruising), Max Rockatansky's was cooler because it was his uniform. This spot-on replica is available from Canadian clothiers AbbyShot, and they've started producing screen-accurate matching gloves.
