The Wednesday Uplink: Odds and Sods

People around here are going like gangbusters. Naturally the sales and shipping departments have been going wild, but it is much more than that. Keyboards are clattering and pencils are being sharpened. Shutters on cameras are clicking and clacking, motors are whizzing and gigging. Even the poor old Abby-Bot is spinning his wheels as he zips to and fro. 

I have ascertained that more Doctor Who products are due to arrive. I also know that there are is only enough fabric for two more Vereen Jackets and about four Deckard Trench to be made. So, AbbyShot is quickly running out of these much loved classics. 


I have heard the Design Team using words like blue, gold and green and some of them are taking measurements, while others draw. Add to this fact that the owner of the company went away to a sourcing show for new fabrics and I figure I have enough material to investigate for weeks to come!

As you can imagine, the energy is palpable!

One last thing before I go. I want to thank each of you for your comments over the past several weeks and for the emails I received with suggestions for travels and for sleuthing. It made my trip much more enjoyable knowing you were with me throughout it all and I promise to reward you with intel as soon as I have had time to debrief and organize everything.

The Wednesday Uplink: New Design Uncovered!

I have returned home, at least for now, but noone at AbbyShot has realized this yet, and so this has allowed me to get into the design room with everyone's guard being down. And I struck GOLD!

So, it seems that by us putting it out there that masked hoodies are a cool idea, AbbyShot has put it out to their fans and they have replied in kind. What's more...they have begun working on a new design.  I have managed to get this clip of a potential design before that dang Abby-Bot was patrolling about. It looks quite familiar to me and I am hoping you recognize it as well. I even remember when AbbyShot was making this coat! 


So, I was hoping that you would put your suggestions below this blog or on AbbyShot's Twitter or Facebook account as to what it is that you would love to see in this hoodie! What details do you think need to be included? How would you suggest they do the mask? Don't forget the inside. What cool attributes should be included? This is your chance to really give them direction!

Oh, I've got to run, I hear the Abby-Bot making its way toward me again! I look forward to reading what it is you have to say about this hoodie!

 So it seems as if AbbyShot is thinking of maybe creating a new hoodie or two! One item they haven't tried yet is a hoodie with a hood that covers the whole face! I have been abroad, as you know, and I have seen a few of these hoodies. Their styles vary, of course, but here are a couple of variations in these pictures. What do you think?


If we could get AbbyShot to create at least one awesome hoodie such as this, what character do you think they should choose? Who already has a "mask" of sorts, do you think? I know they would make the coolest hoodies! What other options should they have?
